Corrado Negro was born in Trieste he obtained her degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Trieste in 1980. In 1984 he specialized in Occupational Medicine and Industrial Hygiene in 1988. Since 1978 he frequented in the Unit of Occupational Medicine in the University of Trieste as student and after as medical doctor . He was scientific researcher at the Institute of Occupational Medicine for the University of Trieste where, in December of 1994, he was confirmed as a permanent tenured researcher. Since 1991 he has been working as medical doctor in medical survelliance and his activity was recognized was as High Specialisation in Trieste Hospitals. He teachs Occupational Medicine in University of Trieste – Faculty of Medicine in several course(Odontoiatria Tecniche della Prevenzione nell’Ambiente e nei Luoghi di Lavoro; Fisioterapia; Igienista dentale, Educatore Professionale Fisioterapista.) and in several post degree Specialization Scools : (Medicina del Lavoro; Igiene e Medicina Preventiva; Medicina Legale; Medicina Interna; Nefrologia ; Oftalmologia) In his professional field he have conducted research in the areas of occupational risks and diseases particulary for health service workers. He has performed studies of anaestetic gases and formaldeide exposure and latex allergy work related. In the last years he dedicated research activity on mechanical vibration exposure and hand arm and whole body related disease. He collaborated to SIMLII Guide-Line for Medical Surveillance of the vibration exposed workers. He collaborated to the projects "VIBRISKS: Risks of occupational exposures to vibration", Proposal QLRT-2001-02650, FP5 Research, Technological Development and Demonstration (RTD)

Since 2005 associated professor in Occupational Health in Department of Pubblic Health –University of Trieste,in October 2008 he was confirmed as a permanent associated professor. He teachs Occupational Medicine in University of Trieste – Faculty of Medicine in several course(Odontoiatria Tecniche della Prevenzione nell’Ambiente e nei Luoghi di Lavoro; Fisioterapia; Igienista dentale, Educatore Professionale Fisioterapista.) and in several post degree Specialization scools : (Medicina del Lavoro; Igiene e Medicina Preventiva; Medicina Legale; Medicina Interna; Nefrologia ; Oftalmologia) In his professional field he have conducted research in the areas of occupational risks and diseases particulary for health service workers.
