Elisabetta Vezzosi is full Professor of History and Institutions of the Americas at the Department of Humanities of the University of Trieste (Associate Professor by 1998). She has been a member and coordinator of different PRIN projects between 1998 and 2012. 2002 - Member Local unit University of Bologna - L'Europa nelle Americhe: cultura e identità politica fra anni Venti e anni Settanta del Novecento". 2005-2008 local coordinator of the PRIN project: "Public charity, social assistance and welfare policies : the case of Trieste " in the context of a PRIN co-ordinated at national level by the University of Eastern Piedmont. 2008 - Member local Unit University of Bologna - "Costruire l'internazionalismo: la riflessoine e l'azione politica negli Stati Uniti fra New Deal e Guerra Fredda". Financed research projects and coordination of research groups: 2009 coordinator the Italian side (with prof. Chiara Saraceno) the international project "Global Governance and policymaking for Social Care" , coordinated by Sonya Michel ( Wilson Center - Washington , DC) and funded by the Foundation San Paolo di Torino. 2013-2016 Research coordinator of the project "Energy policies in post- World War II United States : national and international political, economic, social, end cultural aspects" , funded by the Elettra Synchrotron in Trieste CCpA, in collaboration with the Dipartment of Humanities. 2014-2016 Research coordinator of the project "Italian social work between professionalization, community work and community development: a transnational dimension, 1946-1980"founded by the University of Trieste. 2015-2016 Member of the research group “Les territoires de la production d’énergies non-carbonées - Italian-French research Project funded by Projet Galilée. In collaboration with the Laboratoire meditérrannéen de sociologie (LAMES) - uUniversity of Aix-Marseille. 2017- Member of the Research Group “Les territoires de la production d’énergies non-carbonées - Italian-French research. Funded by CNRS - Program APOGEE-Teprenca. Academic appointments: 2003 director of the master for "Expert in gender studies for equal opportunities in the labor market". 2003 to 2006 Rector's delegate of the University of Trieste for "Research and cultural activities". 2005 to 2006 and from 2011 to 2015 - coordinator of the course "Women, Politics and Institutions" , University of Trieste. 2010-2014 member of Equal Opportunity Committee - University of Trieste. 2012-2015 and 2017- Director's delegate to post-lauream formation, Department of Humanities. 2013- Coordinator of the PHD program "History of Societies, Institutions and Though.
